Online Sales Executive Job Description:

We’re APdailydeals.com, a subsidiary of Ad Pages Magazine – a highly successful 23 year old direct marketing company with a rich history of saving people money.  We’re headquartered in Plano, TX. with divisions throughout the US.

Our newest division, a daily deal website, is growing rapidly and we are looking to hire Sales Executives to work in our Plano, TX headquarters. Our Sales Executives are an integral part of our team, securing advertising commitments from the most popular and desirable local businesses including restaurants, spas, nightclubs, retailers, theatres and tourism venues.

Our rapid growth in the popular daily deal space is due in large part to our parent company, Ad Pages, a long-standing and highly successful direct marketing company with an A+ rating by the BBB. Our marketing partnership has allowed us to stand out in an ever-increasing competitive landscape, and to win deals that our up-start competitors can’t. We have the fast-paced culture of a start-up, with the backing and stability of an established corporation, and we’re looking for Sales Executives who want to be in an environment where their hard work will directly reflect their potential earnings. APdailydeals Sales Executives…

• Are professionals who can develop leads, negotiate with businesses and then close deals in a fast-paced environment, while creating a strong merchant pipeline
• Are individuals with a passion for helping small local businesses grow their bottom line
• Are comfortable in a tele-sales environment and thrive on closing the deal

Responsibilities

• Develop and cultivate leads for APdailydeals using a variety of online and offline resources
• Set up phone meetings with qualified prospects
• Assess potential business deals, negotiate favourable terms and acquire prospective commitment
• Manage relationships with established clients and construct proposals and contracts within selling guidelines
• Record all ongoing merchant contact and sales activity using online CRM tools
• Meet individual quarterly and annual sales targets

Required Skills/Experience

• As this is an inside sales position, telephone presentation & closing skills are an absolute must
• Proven track record with at least two years of targeted experience in a sales position
• First-rate communication and presentation skills with the ability to sell at all decision-making levels
• Excellent working knowledge of social media, including Facebook, Twitter, etc.
• Self-starter mentality and possess the ability to adapt to new environments quickly
• Able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity to meet deadlines
• Strategically and creatively think in a fast-paced environment
